Rock Reports


Most of the students have turned in their rock reports.  These are on display in the media center this week.  I think that all the students did an amazing job on these rocks!

 I will try to get the photos posted soon.  Check back later this week.





















The Man Who Went to the Far side of the Moon





This week we are reading The Man Who Went to the Far Side of the Moon by Bea Uusma Schyffert.  These are the vocabulary words we will be focusing on.  It would be helpful if you will reinforce the meaning of these words at home with your child.  Also, on this newsletter you will find our spelling words for the week.  Please practice these words at home as well.

Line where the Earth and sky seem to meet; skyline.  You cannot see beyond the horizon.
