My Friend

You’ve been my friend, and I’m gonna miss you.

Even though you never let me hold your hand

Or hug or kiss you!

And if I’ve made a difference I guess I’ll never know,

But I sure did have a good time watching you grow.

You didn’t always do things right, but neither did I.
