Power Hour and Math Half Groups

You may hear the students start talking about these two terms this week.  As third and fourth grade teams, we have met together and grouped the students according to the scores on the recent MAP testing in Reading and Math.  For an hour on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays the students concentrate on Reading skills.  For a half an hour on the same days, the students work on additional math skills.  Your child may have a different teacher during these times.  These groups will change throughout the year depending on student achievement.
